I suspect Phoebe Thingumybob is a bit of a budding talent and her best is yet to come, She gets people - male and female, and makes you laugh with the decent but fucked-up ones and at the monstrous fuck-up ones.
Derry Girls is hilarious. And the idea of one of the Derry Girls being a heterosexual English boy is pure genius.

Think it's a brilliant programme and binged series 1 again recently.
In recent years, this, Car Share and Cradle to Grave have saved the BEEB a little after putting the country through Mrs Brown's Boys for so long!!!
Clearly going to be their golden girl for a while after also writing Killing Eve for them.

I know what you mean. My Mrs was surprised when she saw me watching it and i felt slightly embarrassed about it, but ended up watching about 4 episodes on the trot. I also said its like an edgy Mirranda. Bet she will end up in loads of stuff now.

Apparently the only thing she was asked to rewrite was in the first episode when the priest was asked why he didn’t get on well with his brother in the show he says “ because he’s a paedophile” but apparently the original script said “ because he’s a cunt”.
I prefer the original scrip to be honest.
